We worked on estimating where fractions would be on a number line.  Closer to 0 or 1? How do you know?

We are learning new math vocabulary and understanding the concept of equal parts of a whole.

We played a game called PIES for SALE and we looked at fractions greater than one when we have MORE than one pie completed.

Anna is doing well selling those pies!  How many is 18/8?

NEXT WEEK ... We will start PERSUASIVE WRITING!
