This was how our day started! Students reads this message on the board when they arrived at school!
Good Morning Pilgrims!
Today is October 25, 1621!
Please put any sticks on the back table in the box.
We are going to start our day with dressing. Please finish putting on the rest of your items for the day. That includes your belt, which is to be tied around your waist. Put your necklace on carefully. Tuck your napkin into your belt securely. Put your pocket in the waistband of your skirt or your breeches.
We will be taking the Mayflower (bus) to the plantation (Rocky Woods) and we will begin our day of chores and feasting.
Please visit the bathroom. Then begin your morning assignment.
Be of good cheer, friends. We have much to celebrate!
It was quick bus ride to Rocky Woods. The excitement was palpable. It was a chilly start but we managed to accomplish all we needed to do in order for our feast to be ready. Below are the photos I took today. Please feel free to share others with me and I will post them as well.
